Style Icon: Phoebe Buffay

There’s no denial that Friends is the best thing ever that has happened to America (before Harem pants of course).  It’s one of those series that you can watch over and over again without getting tired. I mean how can you get bored with such hilarious scenes? Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler and Joey are my Friends, but Phoebe Buffay, she’s my best friend. I just have such a special connection with that woman, that she’s a huge influence in my life. The moment I met her, she changed her name to Mrs. Princess Consuela Bananahammock! Bang; that was the moment were I said “Gosh this woman is special”. Then my obsession with Friends started growing, and the more episodes I watched, the more I felt in love with Phoebe.

 It’s weird how much this girl and I have in common; I mean she’s funny, smart, clever, bitchy, sexy, slutty, and stylish at the same time. SO DO I! Comparing her to the other two female characters in the series, Phoebe is such a strong individual that embraces female power with such  grace and poise. She even stands out due to her strange and different sartorial choices. You can totally see how right now she would be a style icon. Velvet dresses, heavy metal shirts, weird necklaces, long skirts, crazy hats, and ponytails are some of the things Phoebe rocks. She could easily walk down the runway on a Jeremy Scott show right? Gosh I would love that. Anyway, let’s celebrate Phoebe Buffay, her amazing style, and her hilarious moments. Enjoy!
